Al and Rocio are headed back to Fresno, CA on September 23rd. They will assist their daughter, Raquel, with her new baby son and her other three children. Please be in prayer for them as they travel all of these miles.

Their hopes are also to visit with many of the Ecuadorian Christian Mission's supporters and prayer partners. This is always a special time during their time in the States. If you would like a visit, please contact them: perhaps_hoy@yahoo.com.

Ecuador is having a special election on September 28th in order to ratify the new constitution or to deny it. Please be in special prayer for this as it appears that this constitution is not in the interest of the common people, just the State. Time will tell of course.

Also, please pray for God's will to be done with the new election in the States. May God's will shine through and may we Christians do our part in seeing this come about.

Thank you for your continued prayers for the Perhaps Today Camp. This year is being a real challenge due to the increased financial crisis in Ecuador. By God's graces we are keeping our door open. Many new and different groups have used the camp this year. One such group just comes to spend time fasting during their three days at the camp. What dedication they have!

We will be seeing many new updates in 2009. At this time we do not want to go in to them in detail. Please pray that God continues to guide us as we reach out to Him for guidance and direction. However, one such addition to the camp will be Cory Courtwright. Cory is a fish farming and rabbit raising missionary in Panama at this time. He believes that his living full time in Panama is coming to a close. He is so excited with the possibilities of opening up the Perhaps Today Camp as a fish farming and rabbit raising training center. This will allow the needy Christians in all of Latin America to come to the camp to get trained and to take their learning back to their local people. We will be giving more in detail updates as time goes on.

Please pray for the Missionary Convention this year in Tulsa, OK. It will be held the 21st-23rd of November. Perhaps we can see you there.
